Truly sad to read about Derrick's passing. I knew Derrick from Ft. Garry when he was on the Lions football team. I'm pretty certain that we went to Ralph Maybank together back in the 60's. Even though I have been away from Winnipeg for over 30 years I have often thought of Derrick. I wish I had run in to Derrick on the golf course at some point. We would have had a great time.
